Waltz, formerly known as the ”Waltzen”, the increasing popularity in many parts of Austria and Germany in the 19th century. Popularity of Ballroom Dancing
Ballroom dancing is when a young man has a variety of social dances that a predictable pattern of steps. Examples of these dances are the tango, waltz, fox trot and quick step. It has great popularity increased in Europe, America and Asia.Ballroom had a relatively short history, but interesting and has evolved from a recreational activity to a global sporting event.
Ballroom dancing originated in England in the late 18 century and early 19, it dances like the waltz, were performed by the upper classes and the balls of the elite society and political parties. During the 19th century to the 20th century, has become a trend among the working class and middle class when they go to meetings and events in the ballrooms. In the 1920s, dance competitions began to grow in 1924, formed an organization called the Hall effect of Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. The purpose of this organization was to standardize and formalize ballroom dancing techniques, sets of steps and dance music.
Dancesport competitions and social events are legitimate five dances. Viennese Waltz are modern, tango, foxtrot and quickstep slow. These dances are standardized and classified levels of segregated education and the use of vocabulary, rhythm and tempo and internationally accepted methods.
